There is Darkness in the Light

Popartganda

This layered work explores the hidden trauma beneath fashion and media culture. Seductive imagery is masked with dark paint and stencilled text, exposing the emotional impact of hyper-sexualisation and constant media exposure. BK draws parallels between social media conditioning and psychological manipulation, questioning how identity and self-worth are shaped in today’s world. The piece also critiques the fashion industry’s ethical blind spots, urging the viewer to reflect on what we consume-and what it consumes in us.
